When you call , let us know whether you are needing individual, couple, family or group counseling or if you are interested in more information about our wellness programs, groups, etc. We have daytime, evening and Saturday appointments available, so let us know when would be a good time to meet each week, so our Office Manager can schedule a mutually convenient time. Usually your sessions will be scheduled weekly or more often if you are in crisis. Please do not be offended if we ask if you have Medical Insurance or Medicare to help cover the cost of the service. If you have your medical card with you, we can assist you better by verifying your medical insurance benefits for you and billing your insurance company for you. After we call to verify your benefits, we will get back with you and let you know what your co-pay or co-insurance will be. We accept assignment of medical insurance, Medicare, and credit cards (Visa/Master Card). We also offer a Sliding Fee Scale for those who do not have medical insurance or cannot afford our regular fee.

Unless you request to be seen by a specific therapist, we will assist you by selecting the therapist who specializes in your particular problem. Your therapist will then call you back as soon as s/he is free, usually within an hour or definitely by evening. You may ask when to expect a call back based on the therapist’s schedule. Also, be sure and leave your evening and daytime phone numbers. If your call is of an urgent nature, please let us know and your therapist will get back with you in a timely manner. Of course, if it is an emergency and you or someone you love, is a danger to themselves or others, please call 911 or go to the nearest psychiatric hospital.

Many people have questions regarding the treatment process itself. Your therapist will be happy to answer any questions you have and explain how s/he works and what to expect.

The road to well-being is a fascinating journey to re-discover our own healing power within and reclaim our true or authentic self, to be who “we really are”, personally and in relationship to others. We need the willingness . . . to go places we have never been before . . . to ask for directions along the way . . . and the courage . . . to take that first step.

Leap and the net will appear.
